La christologie est la domaine d'étude théologique chrétienne se consacrant à la personne et à l'œuvre de Jésus Christ, examinant sa nature divine et humaine ainsi que son rôle salvifique.
Les questions christologiques jouent un rôle déterminant dans tous les domaines de la théologie chrétienne : la Création ; le péché ; la transcendance ; la sotériologie. Aucune théologie chrétienne ne fait l'économie de l'interrogation sur la personne du Christ et sa résurrection. Cette étude part notamment des titres donnés à Jésus dans le Nouveau Testament, tels que Christ, Seigneur, Fils de Dieu, Messie et, par conséquent, réfléchit à l'identité du Christ et à la signification du titre de Christ.
